Pillars of Peace
Before writing these workbooks, I posted a question on social media asking what skills are important for students to have as contributing members of society. From the responses I came up with 10 common words that I call Pillars of Peace, the expectations for being a Peacekeeper.
POP Student workbook
After Publishing Peacekeepers, I began Jen Williams Consulting to help schools and youth organizations implement restorative practices and empower students to be leaders. I was often asked how to assess readiness and identify skills that kids need in order to be Peacekeepers. I knew a curriculum was the next step. The workbook was introduced to Peacekeepers in the Wichita Public School District during the fall of 2025. The student and adult leaders gave feedback for improvements. This is the final product!
Pillars of Peace Teacher Pacing Guide
This book guides adult facilitators through teaching the 10 Pillars of Peace (POPs). It is a comprehensive curriculum that fosters foundational peacekeeper skills as well as leadership skills that students will use to help others in their schools and communities. This teacher guide is complete with lesson plans, student workbook pages for your reference, and national standards to support the curriculum.
